On 24 September 2025, the Digital Weimar Triangle Business Summit took place at Sofitel Brussels Europe, focusing on how Europe can strengthen competitiveness, scale digital companies, and foster cross-border cooperation. The summit opened with keynote addresses from Dariusz Standerski, State Secretary at the Ministry of Digital Affairs of Poland, and Prof. Dr. Luise Hölscher, State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry for Digital Transformation and Government Modernisation. Participants then engaged in two expert panels. The first, “Empowering Europe’s Digital Economy”, highlighted how the Weimar Triangle can support startups, scaleups, and inclusive regulatory frameworks. The second, “Building Synergies”, examined opportunities for strategic cooperation across the digital value chain by integrating the strengths of the three countries’ ecosystems. The discussions underlined the importance of trilateral cooperation in shaping Europe’s digital future and offered valuable insights into how to make Europe’s digital economy more competitive and resilient.
