On 15 January, the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers (ZPP) and the European Enterprise Alliance (EEA) organised the Roundtable Discussion on the Omnibus I Sustainability Simplification Package: Practical Implications for European Businesses, which took place at the European Parliament. The event was hosted by MEP Tobiasz Bocheński, with opening remarks from MEP Kosma Złotowski.

During this fruitful and nuanced discussion, policymakers and representatives of businesses of different scales dived into the practical implications of the Omnibus I package, to explore how the simplification and threshold changes of the corporate sustainability reporting and due diligence requirements will alleviate administrative burdens and save their companies time and money.
