On June 12th, 2023, an international conference “SMR – SMALL REACTORS FOR BUSINESS (Is Poland the SMR Technology Incubator in Europe?)” will be held in Warsaw, focusing on the prospects for the development of modern nuclear technology for the Polish industry and local communities. The conference is organized by the Energy and Climate Forum of the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers (ZPP).

Experts, representatives of ministries and parliament, as well as representatives of Polish and foreign companies from industries directly related to the development of Small Nuclear Reactors will participate in the conference.

The conference is under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of State Assets, Ministry of Climate and Environment, Ministry of Development and Technology, The State Atomic Agency, National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management and The National Centre for Nuclear Research. The media partners are: CIRE, Energetyka 24 ; Kierunek Energetyka and Portal nuclear.pl. 

The aim of the conference is to comprehensively present the issue of SMR technology utilization in Poland, to build greater awareness of this technology among stakeholders and the public, but also to develop a practical roadmap for the development of SMR technology in our country.
