“Network fees” proposed by telecommunications operators – will consumers pay twice for infrastructure maintenance? – part 3



In Europe, a crucial debate is unfolding, which carries profound implications for the future of the Internet. The European Commission is actively considering new regulations pertaining to interconnections between networks on the Internet. These proposals, which can only be described as alarming, have the potential to both hinder Internet speed for consumers and jeopardize the overall stability of the Internet. In light of this, Our Member, the European Enterprise Alliance has taken a stand and presented its viewpoint through a report that specifically examines the impact on Slovakia, one of the affected countries.
