Ukraine: Commission proposes to set up a dedicated Facility to support Ukraine’s recovery, reconstruction and modernisation
The European Commission recognizes the severe impact of Russia’s aggressive war on Ukraine, including its people, economy, and infrastructure. In response to the immense task of recovery and reconstruction, the Commission is suggesting the creation of a specialized financing mechanism. This instrument aims to offer consistent, predictable, and adaptable support to Ukraine from 2024 to 2027, taking into account the unprecedented challenges of assisting a country in a state of war.
